Welcome to Tech Workers Inquiry. This site is owned by UTAW, the UKs union for tech workers. This site is where we publish research.
Tech Workers Inquiry is the research division of United Tech & Allied Workers, a branch of the CWU.
Formed in 2020, we organise around workplace conditions and the role of tech in society. Now 6,000 strong, we unite workers across the sector — from engineers at tech giants to researchers, data scientist, designers, custoemr support, retail and content moderators. Tech is global, and so are its impacts. Our campaigns are built on solidarity across borders, from offices to supply chains.
